Certamente la figura di Aida, interpretata mirabilmente dal soprano France Dariz ha primeggiato sugli altri interpreti. La Dariz è scesa nel ruolo in maniera perfetta, alternando una deep vocalità e appassionata, con piani e forti ad acuti formidabili.
Turandot seemed to pay off with bad luck after the unfortunate fall (in the steep streets of Macerata) of Swedish soprano Iréne Theorin who was due to play the title role (in which we heard her at the Peralada festival last summer ). It is therefore his understudy who took over ... and what a change ... all the more gratifying that France Dariz - to whom ultimately falls the role - is French! Another great French voice which does not find its place in its native country (we had simply never heard of it ...), and which makes a career out of interpreting the great Verdian roles (Abigaille, Lady Macbeth, Aïda) - but also Wagnerians (Isolde, Sieglinde, Senta)! - abroad. In fact, the young and more than promising French soprano (Catherine Hunold therefore had a hidden “rival”!) Confronts this extraordinary character with the pride and arrogance of the great Wagnerian sopranos. His song ventures to the most extreme borders, without ever losing anything in terms of flexibility, sensitivity or suppleness, and it is entirely legitimate that the public makes him a triumph at the time of the salutes. Last reason for pride, France Dariz will ultimately ensure all the performances, so ... Cocorico!

French soprano, France Dariz, member of the Opera-Studio of Marseille for the 2007-2008 season, has worked with Yvonne Minton, Tom Krause, Michel Plasson and Rolando Villazon.
Hired by Birgitt Fassbaender at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck for 2 consecutive seasons, France Dariz made her international debut with the role of Madame Lidoine in Poulenc's « Dialogues des Carmélites ».
She sang at the Radio-France Festival and in the Mozarteum during the Salzburg Festival. In 2012, France Dariz made his debut with « Aida » by G. Verdi during a tour with the Pisa theater and won the prize of the competition « Aida » - Arena of Verona and was invited to sing the role at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona.
The following year she participated in the show « Opera On Ice » at the Verona Arena, She made her debut in « Norma » di V. Bellini during a tour in France and in « Un Ballo in Maschera » by G. Verdi at the Teatro Cagnoni in Vigevano. In 2014, she resumed « Norma » in a new tour in France.
In 2017, France Dariz made his debut in G. Puccini' s « Turandot » at the Macerata Sferisterio Opera Festival conducted by M° Pier Giorgio Morandi. Then she sang « Aida » by G. Verdi in the theatres of Rimini, Pesaro and Cento.
In 2018, France Dariz made her debut in G. Verdi's « Macbeth » at the Théâtre Royal Opera de Wallonia alongside Leo Nucci, conducted by M° Paolo Arrivabeni. Then she was « Turandot » at the Opera Festival of Palazzo Farnese in Piacenza. In 2019, she sang « Turandot » at the Elba Opera Festival and in a concert at the Palazzo Ducale in Parma during the Verdi Festival.
At the beginning of 2020, he made his debut at the Teatro Regio in Parma with the role of « Turando t » under the direction of Valerio Galli and directed by Giuseppe Frigeni.
In summer and autumn 2021, she participated in a tour in the theaters of Avignon, Massy, Marseille and Nice with the Calms in which she sang highlights of R. Wagner's « Die Walküre » and G. Verdi's « Aida ».
n December, France Dariz made his debut in G. Verdi's « Requiem Mass » in the church of La Madeleine in Paris with the Académie de Musique du Palais Royal.
The year 2022 begins with his debut with the Cercle Wagner Nice Côte d'Azur with a Wagnerian concert with excerpts from « Die Walküre » (Brünnhilde, Sieglinde) , «Parsifal » (Kundry), Träume « Wesendonklied » - Liebestod « Tristan & Isolde ». In the autumn, France Dariz will participate in concerts as part of the Verdi Festival in Parma.
In November, she made her debut as « Tosca » by Puccini at the Massimo Bellini Opera in Catania. In February and March 2023 she participated in a tour in Spain and France for 15 shows with the lead role in Puccini's « Turandot ». In June, France Dariz makes her debut as Abigaille in Verdi’s « Nabucco » with the Novara Theater.
In 2024 she will resume the Co-production of « Turandot » by Puccini with the Luciano Pavarotti - Freni Theatres in Modena, the Municipal Theatres in Piacenza, the Teatro Manifestazioni in Ravenna and the Teatro Amintore Galli in Rimini interrupted in 2020.
